John has specialised in carving wood for the last 25 years.  He is a highly skilled wood carver using traditional techniques and quality materials.

He has worked with most woods over the years as different woods are suited to different styles of work and different pieces.

Authentic hand carved pieces are as much in demand today as ever. With his own unique style and a great talent in the design and completion of new commissions, as well as reproducing carvings from old photographic details for reproduction furniture or restorations, John is very much in demand. 

He has undertaken work for clients throughout the UK, America, Europe and the Middle East.  He has worked for Public Organisations, Interior Designers and many private clients.  He has accepted commissions for work in National Trust properties and also for the Church including Lambeth Palace and Bath Abbey and has worked as a specialist sub-contractor with many prestigious architects and developers.

His workshop is in the heart of beautiful rural Somerset.
